Himalaya Yoga Valley have been training Yoga teachers at our centre in Goa for over a decade and in that time have graduated over 2000 students through our world-renowned, Yoga Alliance Certified 200 and 500 hour YTTs. Our trainings are highly regarded for their integrity, robust syllabus, and for training competent and confident Yoga Teachers. The school’s proud lineage comes from our founder and Director Yogacharya Lalit, who began studying Yoga in traditional Himalayan Ashrams at the age of seven, and this long tradition carries into our school’s teaching standards and philosophy. In the past ten years of program delivery, we have developed a tried and tested method of progressive learning that produces teachers who are confident in teaching a class in real time, and this is reflected by our international alumni of well recognized and successful graduate teachers. Our training standalone by providing students with highly qualified and expert lecturers and teachers assigned to each theory subject. We recognise the importance of having multiple teachers specific to their area of expertise rather than one or two general teachers covering the entire syllabus.
